Compact was created in response to the need within the machine tool automation sector to reduce dimensions and costs.
Compact is a system that combines the features of a portal loader for loading/unloading machine tools and a lifting tower for handling and storage of unfinished and finished workpieces. The two axes of the portal and the two axes of the tower are both driven by brushless motors and controlled by a single Numerical Control device.
Compact is suitable for manipulating workpieces such as shafts or flanges of medium-small dimensions.
The end-of-arm device consists of two grippers and pneumatic rotator for rapid loading/unloading to and from the machine tool.
The lifting tower can handle standard rack units which will accommodate customised pallets.
